Our latest product, created exclusively for Map Marketing in response to consumer demand. This extra-large map of the world is based on the Mercator Projection and has been created using the most up-to-date technology. It’s ideal for both business and educational purposes, or even simply as a stunning wall display.
The exceptionally clear format shows political boundaries with each country depicted in a different vibrant colour to its immediate neighbours. It is further enhanced by coloured relief and ocean depth depictions, thus adding a striking textured effect and providing an element of physical representation to this political map.
International time zones are depicted along the bottom of the map. Cities are depicted in five population bands, and the map also shows principal roads and railways, international boundaries (indicating those which are disputed) as well as state boundaries within countries. Capital cities of both countries and states are displayed, and international airports and seaports are shown.
The map is permanently bonded between two sheets of tough, flexible, crystal-clear plastic. This finish allows you to “write on, wipe off” with dry or wet wipe pens. The map is also available laminated and framed in superb satin-finish aluminium and is supplied ready to display.

Completely revised and updated for 2006, the countries are clearly defined with political colouring and main cities are clearly marked. Also features time zone clocks, international airports, primary sea ports, main railways as well as international, national and state boundaries. The Earth From Space

The satellites from which the pictures were taken to create this remarkable map orbit the earth at an altitude of 800 km (500 miles). Hundreds of images taken in 1996 were used to create a mosaic base image, to which was added further information in the form of shaded relief imagery to enhance the topographical details. Bathymetry (the science of analysing the depth of the ocean floor) was used to do the same for the sea areas. This map would be a fascinating and unusual gift for armchair explorers everywhere.
