Bespoke Mapping Executive
We currently looking for a new Customised Mapping Executive to join our Bespoke mapping department in Map Marketing's London offices. You will be working in MapInfo with a range of raster bases and vector layers to create bespoke one-off wall maps for clients. A high level of front line customer interfacing is required; you will see each job through from taking the initial enquiry from the customer to creating the final file ready for printing. Your role will involve using your GIS skills to help develop new products that can be sold in a commercial environment whilst helping to improve upon existing systems. We are looking for an individual who can complement our existing hard-working team whilst bringing with them a fresh set of ideas and skills.
The right candidate will have previous experience working with MapInfo Pro, preferably in a work environment, and an interest in IT systems. Any experience using Map Basic would be a distinct advantage as would an aptitude for using graphic design packages such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Corel. The role would suit a self-sufficient individual with a pragmatic approach to problem solving, the position would be an ideal first job for a recent graduate. Starting salary £19,500; bonus scheme available.
